Day 15: God's Purpose for Our Lives

Heavenly Father,

Sometimes I wonder about my purpose. I look at my life and ask, “Why am I here? What do You want me to do?” In those moments, remind me that You created me with intention. My life is not random. Every detail, every gift, and every season is part of Your plan.

Your Word says that You know the plans You have for me—plans to prosper me and not to harm me, plans to give me hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). When I feel lost or uncertain, help me to trust that Your plans are good. Even when I don’t see the whole picture, I know You are guiding my steps.

You created me in Christ Jesus to do good works, which You prepared in advance for me to do (Ephesians 2:10). That means my life has a purpose beyond myself. Open my eyes to the opportunities You place before me. Show me how to use my gifts, my story, and my time for Your glory.

There are days when I struggle with doubt—when I feel inadequate or unqualified. But You remind me in Romans 8:28 that You work all things together for the good of those who love You, who have been called according to Your purpose. I don’t have to have everything figured out—I just need to trust You.

Thank You, Lord, for creating me with purpose. Even when I don’t understand Your plan, I choose to follow where You lead. Help me to walk in confidence, knowing that You are guiding my every step.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
